Most of us, have been taught that we must control every aspect of our dog's life and we have therefore denied him free expression, which after all must be the right of every living creature.
So lets let our dog be a dog welcoming the fact that he has thoughts, feelings and a right to express himself, just as we do. When we understand that, we will understand why our dog does what he does and we can change our behaviour and build a bond and a trust with him based on mutual respect .... so if you would like to learn to observe and respond to your dog's communication for him to then
- Feel secure
- Be relaxed and easy going with you at home as well as outside
- Respond to your requests
- Use self-control
- Be comfortable and relaxed around other dogs
- Walk calmly on a loose lead
- Stop any obsessive behaviours - such as tail chasing... feet chewing
